She was born in Ankara in 1987.

She graduated from Gazi University, Department of Fine Arts Education (Pinting). She later completed her master's degree at Marmara University, Department of Fine Arts Education, with a thesis focused on "relational art." Rejecting the reduction of artistic practice to a single medium, Artüz brings together video art, conceptual installations, painting, and stained glass within an experimental framework that explores the bodily and cultural memory of materials. She approaches disciplines not as a matter of technical diversity, but as instruments for generating meaning.
