Otonom is an art collective founded in 2015 in Istanbul’s Maslak Atatürk Oto Sanayi. Artists from different disciplines and countries work side by side here, creating shared production spaces and developing projects that connect art, the public, and international dialogue.

 

Our aim is to make art accessible to everyone – both to artists and to visitors. In our studios, not only are individual works produced, but also open workshops, courses, and exhibitions take place. Visitors have the chance to witness artistic processes directly and to actively participate themselves.

 

Through regular events and educational programs, Otonom provides a democratic space for collective work, experimentation, and cultural exchange. In the heart of Istanbul’s largest metropolis, a vibrant, multicultural environment emerges that brings people together and inspires collaborative creation.
